🔐 Access & Permissions
This is likely because you do not have the correct role setup. Please contact your Key Contact and ask them to grant you at least "View Access" to visits.
Please refer to Help Info > Help with Visits > Getting Started (MUST WATCH FIRST) to set up your staff records.
📝 Creating & Uploading
Risk Assessments are attached to a "visit entry." Navigate to: Login > My DS > Visit Management > Create / Update Visits > New Visit. Once you complete the first 5 questions (Visit Outline) and save, the Uploads section will become available.
The likely cause of this is that you are not in edit mode or the visit is not "in progress" (RED), if it is and you still cannot edit the visit or upload documents, are you sure you are the original creator, is your name on the visit button? If the original creator is not available and you have been asked to update the visit you will need to request that your EVC assign the visit to you they can do this by clicking MY DS > Visits Management > Reallocate Visits (provided it is "in progress" RED)
🚥 Workflow & Status Tracking
Check the "Current Location" of your visit under My DS > Visit Management > View Current Visits. The status colour identifies where your application is:

| RED | Draft | The visit creator has not yet clicked the submit button. |
| ORANGE | Submitted | The visit is with the EVC for "approval". |
| YELLOW | DS Processing | The EVC has sent your Category C visit to DS for processing. |
| LT YELLOW | Head Approval | Your visit is at the final sign-off stage with the Headteacher. |
| GREEN | Approved | The visit is approved and information is locked as View Only. |
